Thanks for stopping by, I thought this would be good place to tell you a bit more about Wealden Health and Beauty, its origins and how it has evolved into what it is today.

If we turn back the clock to August 1998, I had just opened my first exclusive beauty salon in the heart of Newcastle city centre – Zen Health and Beauty.

If you have never had the pleasure of visiting Newcastle, it is a vibrant and friendly place, well worth a weekend of your time in order to appreciate its history and local attractions.

The Secret of My Success

I decided to name the salon “Zen” as it represented something more than just the physical. It is my experience that a person’s beauty can also be enhanced in many different ways, in particular if they are in the vicinity of someone who has a really strong genuine interest in their well being.

This really is the difference between a mediocre therapist and one whose knowledge and experience of people really shines through. This was the secret of my success.

A Busy Salon

As a result of commanding such an ideal location my salon was always very busy, with over 3000 clients on the books, there was never a moment to rest.

I had a full range of treatments, skincare and healthcare products on offer from waxing, massages, manicures, pedicures, to permanent hair removal and many others. Apart from our beauty treatments, our clients used to love our friendly down to earth chit chat that made a visit to my salon such a pleasure, it was more like visiting an old friend - as my clients used to tell me.

Combine this with our fast, efficient and ever professional service, meant the salon was always a hive of activity.

The Move to Sussex

After a few years of running a successful salon, it was during that time I met my future husband, and sometime not soon after, we made the decision to get married and move down south.

Unfortunately this meant I had to sell the business and start afresh in our new place of residence - a quaint and lovely English village called Forest Row in East Sussex.

The contrast in lifestyle between Newcastle and Forest Row is a world apart, but even so I welcomed the change of pace.

Wealden Health and Beauty

Since joining Wealden Health and Beauty, I have had the privilege to serve clients in Forest Row, East Grinstead, Tunbridge Wells, other parts of Sussex, also London and even other parts of the country.

It seems clients will travel far and wide to get high quality treatments.

New services and Treatments

In recent years I have expanded my services to offer other treatments including health assessments, back and pain relief and a range of health and beauty products.

With my background in medical science, anatomy and physiology, I have a passion for learning and researching into different subjects of interest especially natural, non-toxic beauty products, nutritional supplements and superfoods.

This makes it easier for you to make the right choices so you can achieve your health and beauty goals.
